In winter we dream of thunderstorms we'll spend together
In spring we talk of summer's glow
In summer, we see ourselves in falling leaves
And autumn's conversations are always filled with snow
But why defer to tomorrow?
We could do so much today
I'd like to see you now
And make things happen right away
Well I know you mean well, and you're doing all you can
And it's a complicated world, I have no doubt
But all these plans and ideas we've come up with
We've put them off so long, I'd hate to do without
So why defer to tomorrow?
We could do these things today
If I could see you now
We'd make things happen right away
